Hubble Space Telescope image of Arp 6, also known as NGC 2537 or the Bear’s Paw Galaxy.NGC 2537 has a nucleus that is rapidly forming stars, surrounded by a horseshoe-shaped structure that is also forming new stars. Since the stars in the nucleus are older, the horseshoe may be the result of a shockwave sent out by the nuclear starburst.Credit: NASA, ESA, STScI, J.
