@ObsidianUrbex Eh, I'm not sure that "miraculously" cuts it:chapels (including probably this one) tend to stand alonethis particular building seems to be mainly made of stone instead of some more (in)flammable materialI love the pictures, but I hate clichés like "miraculous."

Abandoned military facilities and relics, echoes of war and conflicts of the past still stand all around us.Military barracks reclaimed by nature. Grounded warbirds stand at the edges of old runways. Nuclear bunkers and warhead storage sites sit abandoned since the close of the Cold War. Rusted tanks wedged in ditches.We can learn much from the mistakes of the past.
