And don't fool yourself into thinking there are racist and non-racist states. A Black friend has said he feels much safer against racism in the deep South, where there are lots of Black people who have his back, than he does here in the Pacific Northwest, where the racists aren't at all nervous about being hurt themselves.

I have fantasies about seceding, too, but what we really need to do is hang every Nazi and build giant memorials, visible for miles, from their bones.
