No, they do not. They speak neutrally and objectively. Thats not fear, uncertainty, or doubt. What you are describing is not competence, its apathy.
I cannot fathom how a human being would look at claims made and evidence backing those claims and call that "paranoid delusion". You are either not bothering to read any of it or are willfully disregarding it. Of course they would say you are contributing to the abuse when you contribute to the abuse, did you expect a different result?

Ich bin dem offiziellen GrapheneOS-Konto gerade entfolgt – nicht, weil ich das Projekt nicht schätze. Im Gegenteil: GrapheneOS ist im Bereich mobiler Sicherheit/Privacy weiterhin die beste Option.
Was mich stört, sind die ständigen Seitenhiebe auf /e/OS, CalyxOS und andere Custom-ROMs - auch wenn die Kritik völlig legitim ist. Aber ich folge dem Account, um etwas über GrapheneOS zu lesen, nicht um regelmäßig zu erfahren, was andere in den Sand setzen. Wer ein starkes Projekt hat, sollte es für sich sprechen lassen.

They explicitly do not call OSs made by scammers and liars "competitors" and have explained numerous times how these OSs arent competition at all. The projects mentioned are highly insecure and developers refuse to improve it. Some of them even attack GrapheneOS for spreading their false claims about privacy and security to sell more. If you think it’s “toxic”, think about how many activists will get arrested or even killed for using such projects.

GrapheneOS is here to stay. The pressure they suffer from attacks is not creating an existential concern, rather it is severely hindering progress they would otherwise make. Its a nigh superhuman level of abuse to deal with.

@ivorytusk @kuketzblog Meldung der Entfolgung zeigt Verantwortung für die, die man rüber gezogen hat.
Ebenfalls von /e/ auf GOS gewechselt und muss sagen, es ist wahrsch. nicht frei im Sinne von RMS. Hat mich dazu verleitet dem Digitalzwang nachzugeben und den Play Store zu nutzen.
Hab jetzt eine Banking App und auch eine für den E-Roller und genau für solche Digitalzwangsituationen ist GOS das sicherste System.
Wir müssen offensichtlich lernen fair mit toxischen Genies umzugehen, nur wie?

Apparently GrapheneOS team members are constantly attacked, swatted, harassed. A worldwide conspiracy against GOS. Then I saw that Louis Rossmann video: He had a little bit of legitimate criticism on GOS and GOS went mad, complained about his „harassment campaign“.
We have a word for this: paranoia.

@kuketzblog Ich bin dort tatsächlich seit Jahren geblockt, nachdem ich mich hier im Fediverse mal positiv zu CalyxOS auf meinem Fairphone 4 (das übrigens gar nicht von GrapheneOS unterstützt wird) geäußert hatte. Das endete in wüsten Beschimpfungen seitens Daniel Micay, in denen er mich u.a. als "dishonest charlatan" bezeichnete und dann noch Drohungen gegen mich ausgesprochen hat. Von solchen Menschen möchte ich keine Software auf meinen Geräten haben.

@ivorytusk @kuketzblog Gerade nochmal gesucht wie viele an GOS arbeiten. Scheint quasi immer noch ein Einmannprojekt zu sein.
Die Argumente sind ja auch stets richtig, aber die Art und Weise mit Drohungen vergiften das Diskussionsklima. Wie man da faire Grenzen im Umgang etablieren kann ist fraglich.
Vertrauen auf langfristigen Projekterfolg stellt sich da nicht ein. Falls das richtig knallt, ist mein Plan B eben zwei Handys einzusetzen. Eins für Digitalzwänge u. ein anderes Custom ROM.
