Any typos spotted in this post whisked their lovely partner (who does NOT camp) on a surprise camping trip last night. If typos spotted, they'll be speaking VERY LOUDLY because they pitched their tent under a tree full of cicadas and their ears are still ringing.
(We had such an amazing time.)*Tākaka for the Kiwis. Where else could it be?
Also, the picture is the view of the beach we were camping in front of at about 9pm last night. So pretty. And so many birds and cicadas! (More in alt text)

@georgepenney Sweet as, indeed! We saw a Project Jonah drill in Pōhara on the other side of Tākaka when we were there in December with volunteers standing in a circle around an inflated practice model of a beached marine mammal.
