    Today I learned from a pastry chef friend that Nestles changed the formula for their semi sweet chips so they seize up if you try to melt them down for sauce.

    Alas o learned this after two attempts at making the top layer of Nanaimo bars seized in a double boiler the second my spatula hit them. It was surreal. I was so frustrated.

    Now Im simply angry. Fucking late stage capitalism

    (Got the bars made with Chocolate melting wafers, if you were worried…)
