Stark features, seafoam green eyes, tall and lean. When he’s angry, his eyes will turn a stormy, steely gray (which is the way with vampires, their eyes changing color). His hair is curly and silver, his eyebrows are dangerous and expressive, and he looks every bit the gentle, charismatic, charming vampire that he is.
While he always tries to do his best, he might sometimes fail at it. He isn't perfect, and would never claim to be, and he hates whenever he gets things wrong. He's a writer, an artist, and can play piano, so his long-fingered hands are often moving about as he speaks. He's expressive in every way. He can be rather silly when he wants to be, incredibly loving and tactile, and yet rather ruthless when the moment calls for it as well.

Accompanied by a witty quip, perhaps. Or a warning. (And there will only ever be one warning from Alistair, trust me.) He can be rather terrifying when he wants to be. Kindness is what he’d rather show and feel, not fury and rage.
I'm imagining the mocking coming from a rival vampire, or perhaps one of the antagonists. Something of that sort. It happens a lot in this tale.
