#PennedPossibilities 672 — What’s the current word count for your WIP?20,100 approx, because it's a portion-and-synopsis for my agent to try and pitch alongside the first book in the new duology/series: *that* book is 148,000 words, again at present (hasn't been acquired and tweaked per editorial requirements yet). And it's an almost direct continuation from the previous book.So: either 20,100 words, or 168,000 words, depending.

Well, one would think that something appropriately Victorian and D&D-like, to fit the steampunk setting of the human world and the fantasy one of the parallel world, but I actually enjoy having really anachronistic music for the soundtrack. What genre?I'm quite spoiled, in that I don't have to imagine what my soundtracks would sound like. My brilliant Sinister Minutes podcast partner somehow connects to the darkest recesses of my brain and reliably concocts the perfect score for my words. AFAIK, the man has never met an instrument he couldn't play, nor a genre he couldn't work within.
