Three good things today:

1. Pet sitting a sweet Pyrenees and Maremma Sheepdog mix. Took her for a 30-minute walk, then let her relax in the backyard. She is now snuggling next to me, tail wagging in her sleep, which made me wonder what she is dreaming about.

2. I found a book I am now obsessed with: Trip by Amie Barrodale. It is a literary novel about a mother who dies unexpectedly and experiences a surreal journey through the afterlife while her teenage son is lost at sea with a stranger, exploring themes of love, connection, and identity.

3. I had chili for lunch, but decided to be a little naughty and added broccoli and avocado.
