#today I have to deal with my organizational failing discovered yesterday.
I have no record at all of making some of the snowflakes that I'm shipping out this week. I do track what I fire in my kiln. No record of the firing means they were made at the nearby studio, using open studio supplies. If I need to replace a broken snowflake in this color, I have to know the color.
So I am running a very fast test firing to identify the glass. Into the jewelry kiln go some little piles of frit. The middle one looks like a no match, but it could be either of the others. They will change color in the firing. In a few hours I can see what matches. (I am not filling the kiln because there is no anneal being done for this run.)
So future me will track studio work better.

Done. It's the bottom one, which I suspected. The test blob is thicker than the snowflake, so the depth of color is different.
If you said bottom, you got it!
