I do track what I fire in my kiln. No record of the firing means they were made at the nearby studio, using open studio supplies. If I need to replace a broken snowflake in this color, I have to know the color.

So I am running a very fast test firing to identify the glass. Into the jewelry kiln go some little piles of frit. The middle one looks like a no match, but it could be either of the others. They will change color in the firing. In a few hours I can see what matches. (I am not filling the kiln because there is no anneal being done for this run.)

So future me will track studio work better.
#FusedGlass

It's the bottom one, which I suspected. The test blob is thicker than the snowflake, so the depth of color is different.

If you said bottom, you got it!
