    @fionor@mas.to @Vivaldi
    I was wondering the same thing. It should just display a few lines and a "Show more" button.

    @tanquist @fionor@mas.to

    Honest apologies, we're looking into it! Something weird happened and it fetched the whole blog when it was just indeed supposed to show the link preview.

      @Vivaldi Hey, random question, can I sign into a Google workspace account on Vivaldi like I can with chrome?

      I don't want to use chrome, but I do need to sign into all my Google Workspace apps for work...

        F-droid the website, yes. But the option to host your own f-droid repository is open to companies like Vivaldi as well.

          @leeloo @lebochequirit @Vivaldi @IzzyOnDroid Also for closed-source apps?? That is kinda disheartening, although a user of course decide which external repos to install.

            An f-droid repo is basically a list of APKs - plus some signing stuff. There is no way it could differentiate between closed and open source (at least as long as whoever is building the repo has the code).

                        @Vivaldi Really thinking about switching to Vivaldi now as this is a feature I wanted for years already.. But I dont really want to give Google a complete monopoly on their rendering engine 😞

                            @leeloo @Vivaldi Vivaldi could be for me. I am commenting here because the web browser for me does not exist. Allow Manifest V2 extensions; use a different browser engine like Servo, LibWeb, or build your own; and if Vivaldi was truly customizable I could turn off tabs amongst other features.

                                    @mmphosis @Vivaldi
                                    Vivaldi allows manifest V2 extensions, but they don't have the manpower to keep them working once upstream removes the code.

                                    The tab bar can be turned off.

                                    Using a different browser engine basically means a different browser, so if that's a requirement, then no, Vivaldi is not for you. As for building their own browser engine, again, they don't have the manpower.

                                    You could try building your own browser - you're probably the same number of developers short of having the manpower to pull it off as they are.

                                      @Vivaldi As mentioned in your post, the previous implementation of Pinned Tabs never made sense to me. Restricting the pinned tab to a particular domain is a good step. However, I would like to see a keyboard shortcut that returns the pinned tab to the original pinned URL. Dia offers that option.
