For folks with chronic conditions that lead to having problems with being cold in bed at night (chills, difficulty with temp regulation, etc), something that has really been helping me is sleeping inside my sleeping bag liner. It's a thin fabric tube that one would normally put inside their sleeping bag to stay extra toasty.

Mine is twenty years old and from the brand Sea to Summit. It's stretchy, so it's not binding. But it's very warm. I use it in bed, just crawl in and sleep normally. It's been a big help recently with the winter temps kicking in.

@hollie you should check out the bedjet. It's a game changer.

@robfwalter I think it’s the fabric? I’m immediately warm when I get in there, and the wonderful thing is that it breathes so it just stays pleasant rather than getting sweltering. Mine is a light polyester fleece material I think.

Yes, this is so valid. Some days just getting through is a massive accomplishment.

@bhhaskin Oh wow, I'm nervous about spending that much on it! 🙂

I do okay most of the year, it's really the dead of winter that things get problematic.

@hollie it is spendy that's for sure and it works best with their cloud sheet. But having the ability to not only heat, but room temperature air is very nice (it doesn't cool the air). I used to always either be too hot or too cold and constantly removing or adding blankets throughout the night.
