@MLE_online TBH the price of drinks was why I stopped going to bars in the '80s. Even a simple shot and mix got just stupidly priced. Has to be a special occasion to buy a cocktail when out (also rare because $16 for a small salad or appetizer).

There's a burrito place near me that I really like, that I've been eating at for years. I used to go once a week or so, but since the pandemic, the price of a burrito went from $5 to $11, and that's just too much! I eat there once every few months now. It doesn't mean I don't like burritos though.

There's not really a good alternative to google maps, for example, and even though i use duckduckgo for my searching, it fails enough that i still have to use google for some searching. And my community college uses gmail for student email accounts. Google has its fingers in a lot of things
