@ami_angelwings His name is technically "Ramón", "don" being a prefix like "mr", but everyone in the show, and the show's presentation, calls him "don Ramón".
Only an old lady with a perennial unrequited crush on him calls him "Monchito" from time to time.
Yes, it's not his name, but nobody ever calls him anything else.

Florence is legally property (an “AI” like the robots in this setting), but this is the kind of comic where nothing truly horrible ever happens so this premise is only used to discuss ethical problems.

A man arguably forced into finding some decency, and dignity, within himself due to being exiled on a Bajoran/Federation space station. Will lie about anything and everything just for the practice.

@ami_angelwings Gollum from Lord of the Rings. The true tragic hero of the tale. Not only does he keep the ring away from Sauron (Morgoth’s little errand boy) and take one for the team in a giant way.
He also follows the tricksy weak hobbits and in a tragic turn of events in his desperation to retrieve the ring, when Frodo is failing at the task at hand mind you, he saves everyone but plummeting to his death in mount doom.
Everyone hated him, yet he saved them all in the end. The fellowship didn’t, Sméagol did.
Gollum is my pick, he’s one of the people. Unsung.
(Also Sam would have been toast had it been Gundam.)
