@MLE_online having done a little bit of recruiting at in-person job fairs - it's amazing how much someone can impress/unimpress you in a very short interaction time. Putting unconscious bias (which is totally a thing) to the side, it has so much value vs. other methods.

A lot of people tend to disagree with me when I say things like this on here, but I do think that if AI pollutes the internet so much that we are forced to spend more time interacting with each other face-to-face, it will be a good thing. @MLE_online we need public spaces for people to meet, which is why I'm telling anyone who will listen that we need to have more breakdancing fundraisers to support community centers

@MLE_online i only disagree for accessibility reasons. the world is not accessible for many people. so until our societies and meat-spaces are made accessible for everyone, online and remote access is crucial.
