@MLE_online I am pretty sure this is happening, the AI polluted resumes and all that. The question is which companies realize this first and react intelligently.

A lot of people tend to disagree with me when I say things like this on here, but I do think that if AI pollutes the internet so much that we are forced to spend more time interacting with each other face-to-face, it will be a good thing. Less online homework, less online hiring, less staring at youtube videos

@bouriquet it's worse than that. you know billboards are billboards. billboards are an eyesore, but they don't infiltrate everything. AI is like a poo in the water supply

@MLE_online @ai6yr Their HR dept is probably using gen-AI to make the hiring decisions based on AI slop generated by the candidates themselves using gen-AI

These the companies complaining about the quality of the online applications,,, are they the same companies posting ghost job openings that are dead end time wasters for real folks looking for jobs?

@MLE_online we need public spaces for people to meet, which is why I'm telling anyone who will listen that we need to have more breakdancing fundraisers to support community centers

@MLE_online That kinda ignores "more discrimination against folks on the basis of things you only see in-person" whether that's race, gender conformity, NNT quirks, etc.
