I'm sorry. But I fact checked this. I'm sorry. I had to. I was like?!??!!? I will not let this individual out-science me on this topic IN PARTICULAR. How on earth would we be getting a population-level sample of all these microbiomes to make this estimate. Sample reading skill issue

The idea that this is the "best bacterial species" is a huge sign of a grifter btw. The entire idea of a microbiome includes that you need BALANCE. Microbiomes are a fragile ecosystem. "Up and to the right is always better" is absurd here, I'm sorry are we in a corporate board room

"However, it is important to note that about 25% of women ostensibly maintain healthy vaginal microbiota without lactobacilli dominance. These women have been found to harbor other lactic acid producers"

        https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6008313/

It's almost like we haven't fully measured all of this

More on this plus variation in it: we are learning that whatever sample he is reading, it seems to be incredibly standard for this particular microbiome and these findings simply report measuring the most common thing to measure here that dominates MOST samples

@grimalkina If that bacteria is so protective it will lead Kate to dumping him. I wouldn't let my host be embarrassed this way.

More on this plus variation in it: we are learning that whatever sample he is reading, it seems to be incredibly standard for this particular microbiome and these findings simply report measuring the most common thing to measure here that dominates MOST samples
