    A busy day with good and bad.

    1. Signed a contract for home repair (good). Start in about 30 days (bad).

    2. Finished mailing all the purchases made by the lovely NC crew. Mailed the request to get my sales license reinstated.

    3. Stove started acting up. Lots of issues, including possibility of oven door self-destructing. Located a different brand, good rating from Consumer Reports. Ordered it today for delivery tomorrow. One-day delivery is a very good thing!

      @bethroots

      I'm glad you could get a new stove so quickly. How can an oven door self-destruct?

        @joyce Joyce, that's an excellent question. I've seen these ranges covered on the news and sometimes the oven door glass just shatters when the oven is cold and no one is in the room. Sometimes it shatters while baking, which to me sounds like a nightmare. One woman had her stove top shatter while unused. I've been concerned for months. I'll be relieved to get rid of it.
