      @KCDOZ

      I was thinking more that people used to be more atheltic back in the day, to get out of that, gracefully or not.

          @KCDOZ this looks AI-generated:
          - man on the left seems to have three arms
          - woman on the right is missing a leg
          - woman in the middle is also missing a leg
          - in the compartments near us, what is that round silver thing, and how does it fit in there
          - whose drinks are on the table

              @KCDOZ

              I’m freaking out. The tech’s all wrong. There’s no way in. There’s no way out. The women are both missing a leg. And the man has three arms. I do not like this donut-couch future!

                @BackFromTheDud @KCDOZ Combine that with drinking and someone's going on their head. I guess the shag carpet would protect them from brain damage. A truly futuristic system would have a section that moves aside when you approach it.

                Also, the circular couches have, ah, limited functionality aside from watching TV. It would work for multiplayer gaming though.

                  @gray17 @KCDOZ I wonder why? Things like this were definitely advertised in the 70s.

                    @KCDOZ Are we sure this is not an AI slop version of a 70s ad?
