This sucks so much.

The S in AI stands for security.
It's been hard to know when we've reached critical fuck around and when we will eventually plummet into find out. Because I've felt like we had entered find out territory multiple times. And yet we, as a society, continue to fuck around.
Holy shit Google brought the light bar from the Chromebook Pixel back. It's over for me.

This continues to be a dumb thing on a long list of dumb things.
Bring back Ubuntu Netbook Remix.
@megsobrien The local place here is truly awesome.
Side note: I wish there was a Fedora Silverblue minimal. This will be my only device not using an atomic OS.
Currently turning my netbook from 2009 into a terminal running Fedora minimal. I figure I can install Homebrew and just do whatever I want with it like that.
Delivering pizza is hard.

For Windows users, this actually looks pretty incredible.
@HoffmanLabs Why we didn't call vibe coding "toking" is a mystery to me.
@Sempf At least two.
Measuring things in "tokens" feels like measuring things in a "foot" or an "inch." How did we get to this unit of measurement? What does it even mean? What do you mean it's "about 4 letters?" How many of them are in a mile?
I discovered zellij on Homebrew a few weeks ago and my life will never be the same.
Still working on stuff, but not bad so far. Each element in the app acts as a physical "layer." The nav bar at the bottom floats above the timeline. The timeline casts a slight shadow over the title bar. And when you scroll up, the timeline shifts up slightly, covering the text and settings button until you pull it back down again. When you pull to refresh, the whole timeline gets pulled down and springs back up. And tapping the settings button causes an entirely new layer to slide up from the bottom.
I'm still using a lot of stock elements (I'm not a designer) and performance tuning has been... difficult with this level of playfulness. But it's all mostly working. Plenty left to implement, though.
Get you a girl that looks at you like @BaSinghSe looks at the silk chocolate pie dessert at Roundup BBQ at Disney World.
Update: I severely underestimated how difficult it would be to create a Mastodon app for Android. But it's getting there. Using it right now. I'm going to be leaving a bunch of stuff out of the first release, though. I'm creating it with my love of Tweetbot in mind, but Tweetbot didn't have things like local feeds. I'm just going to try to hit the basics first, and include a lot of fun animations and modern design goodies.

Something something Mythos.
News: I'm making a Mastodon app for Android. Details soon.
