@vsitante God, same. Writing summaries is THE WORST! Like, sometimes I wanna shake the reader and say 'Read it and figure it out yourself!'

All forms of lit pov is good!!I do realize that there's been an increase of 1st person books and that the main (usually woman) protagonist is usually written as blandly and self insert-y as possible, and that is why people are pushing back on the genre
It is unfortunate, and it's unfortunately poorly written...
Not the fault of the pov, it is the fault of a writer who doesn't understand How to use a *character*

Or you have a preference
Personally, I believe all can co-exist and are all extremely important and ALL can be written well by the right people
