Okay, found a used one with all accessories for 60€ on eBay.
Let's see if I manage to do anything cool with it or just destroy/brick it

Mhh while digging into this some more, I've found FCC docs that show lots of pads and even a DIP switch present on the device (might be a pre-production thing tho)...soo maybe I should just get one on eBay, try to get a UART console and go from there

Do I know anyone that's successfully tinkered around with one of these?
It's a Motorola/Zebra/Symbol WT41N0 and its a little arm/wrist-mounted computer often used in warehouses for scanning stuff.

I wonder if it would be possible to flash it and make it into something like a Pip Boy

It appears to be built around TI's OMAP 4 platform which seems to be supported by postmarketOS...so maybe there's a chance 🤩

@rysiek I mean the IOC did let Hitler put on a full Nazi themed Olympics in 1936... So yeah not a great track record when it comes to sane decisions
