Sharing this for no particular reason:I really love the Dana Library Hand font for "handwritten" text. -
With all the tiktok drama I have been telling people Mastodon is still here and kicking!!I think it's possible that the best way to help people find their feet here is via people inviting their friends.
First, before you even mention it to them, figure out what'll be a good instance for that person, and (if they have a smartphone) a good app for their phone.
Then help them to get set up (easiest if it's someone you see in person), and introduce them "my friend joined, here's what they're into".
I think that's probably always gonna work better than, like, trying to advertise it big-scale.
