CIRCLE WITH A DOT

@restinparadise Um, forgive me for nitpicking, but if this individual was 97 years old, that would mean he was born in 1928 or 1929. The #Titanic sank in 1912.

It has been several generations since cigarette commercials appeared on TV and Radio here in the United States. An act of Congress bannned them back in 1970. But, I’m so old, I remember when they were around in proliferation. This morning, quite randomly, a memory swam up into my consciousness, dating from, as best I recall, from kindergarten days, riding the bus to school, and a bunch of us belting out Winstons taste good like a cigarette should.

Right now, this morning, I feel like I want to be 10 years old again, where people make hard and complicated life decisions for me. I kind of feel like I’m flunking adulthood right now. I’m going to go attend a webinar while lying down, with video off of course, and work on a reboot.

@samlitzinger I finally did cancel my #WaPo subscription last week. The only reason I kept it as long as I did was for the Books section. It certainly wasn’t for the opinions section.

@KrissyKat I know this is sacrilege, but when I lived there I was never a Pizza King fan. I didn’t like the way they chopped the meat toppings into confetti.
