#knitting #WIPWednesday! -
Right. I'm up.@frogglin Way ahead of you
-
Right. I'm up.Flew too close to the sun with this excellent start to the day, I've just found a large puddle of goop in the fridge. Origin so far unknown π«
-
Right. I'm up.Also someone just told me I made their day which has, in turn, made my day.
It's only quarter past nine so that's pretty good going

-
Right. I'm up.Right. I'm up. Had proper sleep. Got tea.
The headache that set in on Monday night and ruined yesterday has not gone but it's definitely faded a lot.
Moving all of my least-thinky tasks to today and lets see how far I get

-
Well, my first postcard is away.@ScubaET Oh no
-
Well, my first postcard is away.@sinituulia Oh wow that hits so hard, the poor guy
-
Well, my first postcard is away.@ScubaET Just a short hop over into Europe and the recipient seems like they do a LOT of postcrossing so they'll hopefully report in straight away

-
Well, my first postcard is away.@BritishKoalaTea Wow that's a lot! Really excited to get my first one back but since I can only afford to send one every now and then it'll probably take a while

-
Well, my first postcard is away.@sinituulia Yeah it's super expensive here too so I won't be sending a lot, but did just get a load of discount stamps that will make it sting less (assuming I can bear to post them and don't accidentally collect them instead).
-
Well, my first postcard is away.@dtq1952 I'm excited to be taking part but also very stressed about making a stupid newbie mistake

-
Well, my first postcard is away.Well, my first postcard is away. They like elephants, and I happened to get an elephant pic in my random mixed bag of cheap cards, so that worked out well.
They also requested a lot of writing on the card, and me being naturally wordy that's fine, but me being naturally anxious I also had to copy the dimensions onto tracing paper first and practise fitting everything in!
I checked the code and address about six times but am still worried I somehow did it wrong. So now we wait

How come WIP Wednesday stayed such a thing over the years, but FO Friday didn't?@olivvybee Thanks I love them! The actual quality of the knitting leaves a bit to be desired but idc they're very practical

-
How come WIP Wednesday stayed such a thing over the years, but FO Friday didn't?Pattern I used is here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/everyday-mittens---codzienne-mitenki
(only on Ravelry I think, but I'm sure there are plenty similar ones out there)

Well, I have a Finished Object and it's Friday, so here we are.
Given that we have a snow and ice warning (again), I think there's still plenty of use left in these before Spring. And the thumbholes are a gamechanger!
