Here's a shot of a vintage Kettle Creek Canvas shirtdress that I'm refreshing for #WipWednesday . Anybody remember them? I've changed the buttons, removed patch pockets, added inset side pockets and a back kickpleat, lined the belt, and pinned on whimsical embellishments. Just started the multicoloured embroidery on the collar, more embroidery to come.#sewing #sewingproject #needlework #upcycledfashion

#WIPWednesday • A moderate liver infection started over the weekend so I’ve done a lot of stitching this week. I finished the second pass of white and am now doing some of the smaller various coloured areas of the Milky Way. #SciArt #embroidery

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, there was indeed a cheeky cast on yesterday.But more importantly, I've also jumpscared myself with the realisation of how close my self-imposed deadline for this blue crochet dress is. So tonight's first task is to find where I actually put the beginning bit of the back panel, since I've not worked on it since December.
