I really like how Mastodon handles quote-posts. On Twitter, it seemed like people mostly used quotes to dunk on people. I think quoting can lend itself to that; you’re not talking to a person, you’re talking about them to your followers. Giving users power to choose which posts can get quoted by who is a great way to mitigate that.#mastodon #fediverse
