Following the suggestion of the vet nurse that a ‘slow feeder’ bowl might be a good idea for Laurie, we purchased a bowl for him last week. He wasn’t impressed, leaving any food that wasn’t easily accessible & going outside to hunt food for himself - which is something we try to discourage. After several wasted meals we ‘blinked first’ & put the food into his usual bowl, whereupon he tucked in & ate the lot (& licked the bowl clean). A win for Laurie. He needs to lose some weight, but we don’t want to starve him.
