No, he just sat in front of me. But I felt it must have been really important for him to have got ‘in my face’ to tell me something. He probably thought he was being very clear & I could feel the emphasis- I just lack understanding.
Normally he just shouts ‍
Telepathy would help - if I knew how.

I wish I understood Cat language. Laurie clearly had something important to tell me. He got onto the table, sat right in front of my face, stared straight into my eyes & gave me his ‘silent meow’ (I don’t think it’s actually silent, but it is out of my hearing range). He was so serious and emphatic about telling me & I could feel how important it was to him. I have let him down by not understanding & responding appropriately.

Have you heard anything from @jaden3 recently? I haven’t seen him on here for a while & am hoping he’s ok.

Following the suggestion of the vet nurse that a ‘slow feeder’ bowl might be a good idea for Laurie, we purchased a bowl for him last week.
He wasn’t impressed, leaving any food that wasn’t easily accessible & going outside to hunt food for himself - which is something we try to discourage.
After several wasted meals we ‘blinked first’ & put the food into his usual bowl, whereupon he tucked in & ate the lot (& licked the bowl clean). A win for Laurie. He needs to lose some weight, but we don’t want to starve him.
