I hate task paralysis, like I thought my issue was primarily my doom scrolling habit, but now that I've all but broke that I still find myself locked in place for ungodly amounts of time. -

knowing how deeply our lives intertwine:
- I train myself to care for living beings
- I train myself to share my resources
- I train myself to bring integrity to relationships
- I train myself to speak what is true, kind, and useful
- I train myself to cultivate a healthy mind
i love how the precepts aren't commandments but guidelines for living a life that is dedicated to reducing suffering in the world

we have a phrase in the labor movement: "don't panic, organize"on the flip side of this, we need to throw of the syrupy malaise of apathy, dread, and doomerism while recognizing that it's gonna get worse before it get's better
build your community, be active in local politics (join DSA!!), and keep your chin up (as infamous fop once said)

we have a phrase in the labor movement: "don't panic, organize"we have a phrase in the labor movement: "don't panic, organize"
if we apply it, it works every time
it quells existential dread, builds solidarity, and makes things better for the working class
remember, "rebellions are built on hope"
don't let THE MAN get u down
we can do amazing things if we bring our care, joy, kindness, and equanimity to the fore
