Oh, nice!
The sleep clinic here only does in-lab sleep studies, but the psych hospital does them in-home. When I did the in home study they even sent a nurse to my apartment to wire me up, but I expect now with the new hospital and budget they don't do that any more. -

Yes! Mutuals Only would be a great feature. I don't think it's possible to express in current ActivityPub, but that could be solved by introducing a Mutuals Collection, or set arithmetic for existing Collections (to: (Followers AND Follows)). -

If we take the further step of a Collection of thread participants/followers, then Bob-only followers should be able to backfill the conversation and see the full thread. -

I think subsequent replies should CC both Bob's and Alice's followers, so those who follow Bob but not Alice would still be able to see all subsequent replies. -

I would say, To: Alice, cc: both Alice's and Bob's followers, possibly cc: or bcc: a theoretical Collection of all participants in the thread who have not muted the thread by leaving the collection?
