@broadwaybabyto I agree that the reasoning is sound. Have you looked into getting a portable air filter, for the purpose of further increasing safety? Not one of the voc ones, (to not affect your sniff test), but a particle catcher. There's some bag size ones that's got pretty good reviews here (Sweden), meant for hotel rooms etc so one has a space to safely be unmasked while travelling, and I am sure there must be US equivalents. That's the only thing I can think of that would increase safety.

I need tips for apartment hunting while COVID cautious! -
i'm sorry what@skinnylatte this has happened to me, before I realised about my joint/mobility problems and asthma and needing a slow pace. I probably wasn't in danger, but I was Scared, the "my group abandoned me and I'm gonna die alone now" instinctual anxiety kicked in, which made me less rational, panic was probably the biggest risk to me in the place I was. I am horrified at the situations and places some of these people have been left in.

The problem with fountain pens is once you get used to writing with them, all other pens feel TERRIBLE.@mariyadelano I am so glad I don't share that experience. I still love all kinds of pens.

I first saw the word “aphantasia” about a decade ago, and it was clear to me that it’s one of my mental traits, though I did still have questions about some things I can do.@gannet I'm on the other end of whatever spectrum aphantasia is one end of, extremely vivid imagination, and I can't with most books. I am extremely grateful for the Celia Lake recommendation from you about four or five years ago, they rarely make me tense up. I'm also quick thinking and can imagine all the ways something can go wrong, so for instance breaking in to the villain's house/room always terrifies me. Don't doooo iiiiiit
