@BorrisInABox don't know what this says about me but this would actually make perfect sense to my younger self. at the time I remember reading stories where there'd be Christmas ceasefires in war and I always wondered how that got implemented, or if everyone just figured they couldn't celebrate and fight at the same time and just naturally did it. So if that, why not this? Every natural disaster can wait its turn. If they happen at the same time, how can the poor humans give each one the full panic it deserves? Hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires, please make an orderly queue and don't begin until it's your time.

@alpuzz Thank you! It has been a great day so far, though no birthday sweets have been consumed yet. It's funny, I always seem to have things that are pie adjacent, but not necessarily pie. Is cheesecake a pie? Is cobbler a pie? I'd argue that both are closer to pie than cake.

@alexhall Oh, yes, that makes sense. I've had instances of plugging things in and losing audio, but I never really figured out why. I think in those instances there must've been an audio component in there somewhere.

@alexhall And I suppose that wouldn't be so bad if it could route any audio that you'd normally have on your phone somewhere else if you needed audio for anything, since if you've got something plugged in via USB-C your phone audio is gone. I doubt they've done that, though, as it would be at odds with the minimalist approach they are taking here.

@alexhall Does it actually have Bluetooth? I admit I just did a quick skim earlier so may have missed it, but it looked like it was only USB C.

@robini71 Glad you got it sorted out. It forced to make a choice, I guess I'd say books, but only because I already have a jukebox in my brain. I never know what ear worm I will wake up with from day to day, or minute to minute sometimes. Thankfully though, neither of us has to choose.

@robini71 Any day without books is a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. I hope you are able to get things straightened out quickly with a minimum of fuss.

@jmillerbiblio I think it has something to do with Voiceover seeing the timeline and every time it moves forward by a second, you get the bonk. Try moving your Voiceover focus somewhere else, maybe up in the status bar.
