@timkmak the USA has no problem promising anything to people who may help them- the biggest problem they have is that they don’t follow through with their promises. And it’s basically an “OOPs- someone above me won’t let it happen”. Thy don’t own it.

@gmh so they are insisting that they have more information about me than they actually need to verify my age. All these documents have potential to access multiple sources of data- driving records, credit history, travel records- for example. Will state or provincial ID cards work?

@efoltin @crazyeddie @passwordsarehard4 @georgetakei not at all but where I live voting requires some form of government ID or the voters card they send, mail in requires a second signature. I am very much against the proposed changes and see them as voter suppression.

@imlikethecheese looking for perfect is what we all do. Being able to identify good enough is what we all need. Living with the difference is what a relationship is. IMHO

@alanthecampbell @Strandjunker perhaps that’s because a better place is in fact wanting them and taking them early so their ‘thoughts’ are not spoiled by over exposure to the crap of the world. It would be nice. And even nicer if we were chosen to join them.

@imlikethecheese imho-do we demonstrate perfection ourselves or only our interpretation of it- do we expect perfection from others or only that they meet our interpretation of it? When trying to establish a relationship expect a few missteps in the process. But none of this is my business.

- to insist that only federal identification certificates (passport) will be accepted

@aral appreciated the fact that it clarified the terms anti-Zionism and anti-Semitic. Not having an issue with the Jewish religion doesn’t mean you have to support the political agenda of the Jewish state. Those who insist these two terms are ‘ identical’ are conflating their beliefs to undermine the reality and to deny your accurate point.

@fromjason what are people doing to stop these abuses? War, sexual abuse, sex traffickers etc. The ‘siting out’ of an election is ludicrous! Get actively involved too many people put it onto others to do what is right! Elections require an informed and active electorate.

@DaveMWilburn @tinker interesting line- I was at two ‘christian services’ in Florida a while back and the hymns were all emotional but never really reflected what Christ did so much as how they were to respond to the words.
