With the announcement that Discord will be requiring age-verification on a global rather than state-by-state level, the exodus is starting and I’m looking at starting up my own DeltaChat relay to support my own friends and communities moving forward.The main thing to bear in mind is that in groups there is no hierarchy - every member is the same. No owner, no admin(s). Anyone can invite people, anyone can remove people, anyone can post. This may, of course, change in the future.
The exception is channels where only the channel owner can post. So it is essentially one-way communication from the owner to the members.
