Yes, thank you! Learned that this morning! Brilliant. Others have also pointed me to @greenpartyni and @WestNorthantsGreens - i hadn’t realised. Will see what we can do locally (in #Eastbourne). And also what can be done to establish Mastodon more in #GreenParty as a whole. Though aware that v clearly not the first to come up with this idea.

They must have decided against it (like 10,000s of others who joined and gave up). Maybe there should be a new mastodon drive one of these days. Some of the off-putting functionality issues have been addressed by now, though by no means all.

Our local party (closed down after last election by somewhat erratic unilateral decision) has just reestablished and it is all X, FB and Insta. I have suggested Mastodon but noone knows it. I will work on it locally but is there any way to take it to the top somehow? Can we get together on here to write an email? Any suggestions welcome. #UKpolitics
