Did you watch the Olympics?As a young person, I loved it. The Olympics seemed to realize the best of humanity's potential. Good will across borders. Honesty. The desire to succeed and the ability to stand up again after failure. Beauty. Strength. Joy.
But the IOC has become so relentlessly self-serving and, morally, corrupt, I just can't stand it anymore.
Also, I am an American, and that '72 basketball thing is hard to get over.

The worst thing about online learning is that everything has become a video.Food bloggers used to write things down. That is, they used to teach you how to cook. Nowadays, that still write, but it's like every article starts with, "I was born on a farm in Nebraska..."
