@phoebe so it's bit of a long story.the origin of the meme seems to be from a skrilla song named Doot Doot (6 7), well at least to the sources i found.however it didn't really spread like wildfire until Cam Wilder uploaded a video where the famous 67 kid appeared and said the thingi honestly don't know how and why it became so popular... although tbf nonsensical memes and jokes we're already a thing for ages.sometimes things don't have to make sense, sometimes it's just absurd like that. i don't find it funny but i don't really mind it either, just being in indifference about it. my generation already had it's fair share of nonsensical stuff that was popular for a few months at most, so what's happening now isn't a new development.

@ActuallyAubrey – so, if plants can retract their leaves and branches, as well as do complex chemistry and communicate to each other (and other animals), they seem worthy of rights tbh
