friendly reminder to please recognize and accept the men, boys, and masc-leaning enbies in your part of fedi.
I feel they don’t get the nice treatment like women, girls, and fem-leaning enbies do.
I used to front very often, but as a masc-leaning GNC enby, I realize that I felt unsafe after seeing a masc ally get bullied off of the platform.
there are other reasons why I don’t front as often, but that is one that I feel comfortable saying by proxy.

@phoebe yeah, this corner of fedi seems to be very unwelcoming to transmasc and masc-leaning folks, if not actively hostile towards them. I have said it a ton in the past and I will continue to say it until I die: men are not our enemies, the patriarchy is. Tearing down our transmasc brothers and siblings and our masc allies simply for being boys, men, and masculine is counterproductive and harms our community for no real purpose. We will always stand by the transmascs, masc-leaning enbies, and cis man allies in our community. -

once I am (and everyone else is) safe enough (IYKYK), I plan to front again
but I plan to hopefuly unmask myself away from a fem-presenting appearance I was forced to show.
I hope fedi will be safe enough for me to be myself once I return with the rest of the Lighthouse System.
