we got a nice piece of halibut today and haven't done much classic french cooking lately, so dinner tonight will be grilled halibut on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes with a lemon chervil beurre blanc sauce.

@samlitzinger the WH and GOP have shown a consistent disregard for expert opinions, replacing expertise with blind loyalty, and replacing competent diplomacy with vibe diplomacy & unhinged military strikes.

@jcape @hugh read the thread. i'm advocating for govt/large corp to actually hire and keep their own talent to do this. if they can't handle backups, offsite, redundancy, hire better. it's not an either or situation.
