I find dolls that are resembling human shapes to be a bit creepy, so I’ve got a small pair of Hina-Bunny dolls for the occasion. I’ve forgot to display them in the resent years.

When I was really small, we had a huge set of Hina dolls which came with a ladder-like display of seven shelves with the red cover cloth and all the trimmings. It was bigger than Christmas back then. lol

The nearby supermarket now constantly plays “Hina-Matsuri” song. It’s in the pentatonic minor key, and the forced positive words make me think it’s a sad song about predestined girls’ life, that used to serve and cater to some noble men’s lives in the courts just a handful of centuries ago.

Btw, Hina-Matsuri is Dolls’ (girls’) festival, and celebrated on the March 3, but not a bank holiday. *girls got gypped left n right in the paternal societies*

Of course, I could be wrong, but I would use the word “criminals” instead of “sociopath.” Since I read this book written by a socially contributing, self-claiming “sociopath” woman, I’ve been very careful about using that word these days. Anyway, it’s a well-written and quite entertaining book titled “Sociopath — a memoir” by Patric Gagne, PhD, if anyone is interested.

if you zoom in and look very closely at the photo, there are actually two women dressed in kimono. But the pink kimono person is nearly totally eclipsed by the blue one. It’s just I was also walking as I took the pic.
