CIRCLE WITH A DOT

We had some file system problems on our database host starting this morning around 6 CET. This lead to a read only filesystem, which we started to fix at 10 CET. We also used this downtime to do some reboots and some needed maintenance. So welcome back while we catch up what happened in the fediverse during our downtime. #mastoadmin

Looks like the problem is solved. Systemd-resolved was in a strange stage where it still resolved requests via dig as usual but for example a curl or mtr timed out on the DNS stage. Restarting systemd-resolved solved the problem. #mastoadmin

We observe increased error rates and are investigating #mastoadmin
