I don’t think you can kill a Disc but you certainly can blacklists console. Nintendo is not better with their Gamecards.

@wojtek Even thats not true anymore. PlayStation games get released on Disc which are basically empty and kick off a 100GB downloads. Just a fancy DRM Token.

The reality of “buying” digital goods. Looks like Paramount pulled its Star Trek content on Amazon Prime, even if you purchased it.

They can take it away from you, whatever its your choice and if they are nice they might refund you.

Ich muss eine Lanze für Berlin brechen.

Am Dienstag ist mir aufgefallen, dass mein Personalausweis nächste Woche abläuft. Also habe ich einen Termin für heute beim Bürgeramt um die Ecke gemacht. Dort habe ich auch gleich Fotos am Automaten gemacht und war fertig. Das Ganze hat vielleicht 15 Minuten gedauert.

Trotzdem ist es bescheuert, dass so ein Perso mittlerweile 50 € kostet, obwohl man verpflichtet ist, einen zu haben

@nicklockwood It reminds me a little bit when people thought that music labels would protect artists since they fought in the past for copyright protection.

But now these labels are negotiating licensing fees to train on their catalogue. They just go where the money is and their catalogue is just an asset.
