Yes, it is lovely! Very busy that day, hence the tight crop to avoid heads, but it works!
One of my favourite poems. You should look it up and read the rest if you can. She was an inspiring lady. -
"Try To Be A Rainbow In Someone's Cloud""Try To Be A Rainbow In Someone's Cloud"
I've had so many rainbows in my clouds
I had a lot of clouds
So I don't ever feel
I have no helpI've had rainbows in my clouds
And the thing to do it seems to me
Is to prepare yourself
So that you can be a rainbow
In somebody else's cloudI've learned that people will forget what you think
What you said
People will forget what you did
But people will never forget
How you made them feel.By Maya Angelou

Weird And WonderfulWeird And Wonderful
This peculiarly beautiful place was formed when softer rock was eroded by glacial meltwater, leaving these strange upright pillars of harder material.
The result is a two kilometre long and 100 metre deep canyon where pareidolia runs wild. There are faces and creatures all around you, petrified.

LeewardLeeward
This beautiful and dramatic pyramidical stack of basaltic strata is a regular stop for us. It has a wonderful strength about it.
Every time we've been there, it looks different. This time, a clump of cloud had formed on the leeward side of the peak, and patchy sunlight was picking out details in the structure.

UnspoiltUnspoilt
No contrails in the sky, no traffic noise, no roads except gravel.
Unhurried and leisurely, with peacefulness and tranquillity.
Warm sun on my shoulders.
No sound but an occasional bird, and the gentle wind.I gladly share that moment with you.

Massive landslide and beach erosion at Reynisfjara.Massive landslide and beach erosion at Reynisfjara.
The famous black sand beach has been dramatically altered by a landslide and also heavy erosion has carved deep into the sandy beach, in places by dozens of meters.
Where once they were accessible to visitors, the famous basalt caves of Hálsanefshellir are now in the sea.
Landslides are not uncommon in this area, the last significant one was in August 2019.
