@QueenOfTheCroneAge people don’t believe me when I tell them we were not allowed to wear pants to school. In 1967, my school decided we could wear them under our dresses while walking to school but had to take them off in the coat room. This is part of why I have white hot rage for women who say they’re not feminists. “Really? Take off your fucking jeans, then!”
