I wish I could force every legislator in favor of Age Verification to watch this amazing talk by Carissa Véliz,@Em0nM4stodon I'm not sure I 100% agree with *the beginning of* her third item. I still think it's a matter of degrees. The same tech that can automatically recognize people in FB I can use it to recognize people in my own set of photographs in my own network for my own use. Of course, FB has a different scale and more tech around that basic tech.

If Alice makes a followers-only post, and Bob replies to it, to whom should Bob's reply be visible?@evan I think both is a problem because if we keep going, the conversation will be among a very different public each time anyone answers. Same for "Bob's".
I put "something else", but I wish I put "Alice's".
