It takes so much effort justifying and proving that you are not well.

If only as much effort was required for some folks to prove their competency while in their paid/elected job!

Today we took Mum shopping,
Then went to ToolStation for a couple of loft hatches.
I climbed up to the small loft hatch,
And began making a larger frame to go inside.
I cut out the redundant joists,
And the excess plasterboard.
I rebuilt the ceiling around the new opening,
And cleaned up all the mess.
Didn't get around to plastering,
As had to pop out to caretaking work.
Chatted with Mum,
And paid her HomeCare bill.
Watched a bit of TV,
And a couple of videos.
Tired out now,
Off to bed I reckon.

Also, our normal locking bolt is padlocked to the other gate so it doesn't pull through the keep.

We are taking Mum shopping this morning, and Sue is picking up my meds from the Chemist (if I remember to remind her while we are out).

Later I will be plastering the light tunnel and a part of the stairwell ceiling.
It would be good to put the effort in to try and get it all one in one hit so that it can be painted and finished with.
