Got more info and lots of speculation on this whole dealership debacle.

My dealership (JetCity) bought the Tacoma dealership (destination) from dealership 3(silverdale).

So the sum total is.

Destination HD is now Silverdale HD, Jet City is dead as is Seattle HOG Chapter 4486, and Destination HD Tacoma will be renamed to something else.

Minimal changes for the teams in Renton and Tacoma other than moving everything to Tacoma and shuttering Renton, all staff is consolidating into Tacoma and there will be a growth in providing service for bikes.

All of this is great for Tacoma, horrible for Seattle.

What it means for HD riders in the PNW is, Eastside H-D is the ONLY full H-D dealership in King County. Just 3 years ago there was 3 dealers.

What I am bummed about is losing all the history of Downtown Harley-Davidson. I just started to document the living history of the shop and people but it’s gone, just like that.

Between losing Great Nowthwest HOG (first PNW chapter) and Seattle HOG in 2 years is a massive shift in the riding culture of Seattle.

Not sure what I am gonna do but more than likely end up in Eastside HOG who also sponsors GNW HOG history and chapter info. Tacoma may do the same with Seattle but I doubt it.

Independent dealers are getting ripped apart by groups like MOD and TMC….kinda sad

Just found out my local #harleydavidson dealer is closing. That alone would suck normally but it also means my HOG chapter will have to change.

Here is the crazy part, it means more than likely the biggest city in the state will no longer have a Chapter. Eastside Harley already bought the Lynnwood shop and closed it now Jet City is moving to Tacoma, leaving the Seattle HOG chapter to hold while dealerships figure it out. I am a primary officer so who knows what I’m in for…

I could move to Eastside HOG as it would be a lot closer than Tacoma.

Another day without consequences for the worst president in history.

This should be your notice that you can do anything and not get punished when it comes to the government.

You will get caught but how can the government hold you accountable when they don’t hold the current government accountable?

How many times can someone openly break the law before justice comes?

How can the US Government hold anyone accountable? They lost control and now we all suffer.

It’s all a joke to them.

Keep seeing this info but I have yet to see any way to get trained.

I would go and be an electrician without question but there is no good way to transition into a trade. Everything is designed for 18 year olds graduating high school not 52 year old bored men looking to do something new.

My client asked me to help out with some none tech stuff since I am a bit slow so I have been doing some facilities work. Last week I went to harbor freight and grabbed something and looked at several items they could use. Mentioned it to the owners and they went down and looked around, asked me today to pick up stuff for them. Almost everything I thought they needed was on the list. Wish I would’ve done it last week

@SecureOwl the App still works?!? That’s the way I had it setup for the past few years now I am gonna have to check it out today. They kept telling me it was dead except for news.

@SecureOwl you didn’t have ford commercials on the front or back of racing? Something I didn’t have though the F1 app but Apple seems to start feeds with commercials.

You don’t have to self-host to have this problem. So glad I was able to work through it before some crazy stuff happened.

Found why email was going to trash. Default settings stepping on each other.

Moved my name servers off azure, updated all my email records for DNS and I have gotten an email. I know my stuff is good now, needed to clean up the zone anyway.

Now to finish solving my other domain email issue…more migration crap. These migration techs missed a lot.

Found one DNS issue that solves my ssl cert renewal….

Looks like someone forgot to update my nameservers when they migrated me. Guess that’s what I get for not checking…

Still have something trying to send thousands of emails out of my exchange server not TLS encrypted in Exchange. Not sure what is going on there but I need to figure that out. MSFT has been no help…
