@Edent I have to confess: would have loved to be an early adopter to bitcoin :-). But the general sentiment of course holds true: one can easily adopt to revolutionary things when everyone else adopts. There'll be a solution for the general public then.
Sometimes there's early mover advantage. But all this has risk attached of course. With the danger of beating a dead horse here: Bitcoin went live in 2009. And somewhere in 2013 was the latest point where investing 1k would have made you a millionaire by today. Hindsight's 20/20 and 1k is not nothing but 4 years are also a long time to still count as "early" when it comes to adopting.
Anyway imho it's more a matter of taste and how risk adverse you are. I guess it's hard to figure out what "investing 1k into AI" looks like exactly right now :-).
